We are all Agents of Change.
As part of the trust's strategic five-year plan, we make the following sustainability commitments:
- To drive down carbon consumption and lead sector thinking about how best to educate in a sustainable and green way
- To set a carbon footprint reduction minimum target of 1% per year with energy usage included in annual reports to Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬 Board
- To increase effectiveness and efficiency of infrastructure, underpinned by sound financial management practices

Energy Sparks
Every Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬 school is registered with ENERGY SPARKS, actively engaging with activities and actions, registering their points and having a great impact on the levels of energy consumed in their individual settings.
Initiatives:
- GET ENERGISED gets pupils and staff thinking about how much energy is used, especially when no one else is in school.
- GREEN DOTS on all electrical appliances encourages all appliances to be switched off when not in use and RED DOTS clearly show which appliances must be left switched on!
- BEAT YOUR BASELOAD helps schools understand how much electricity is needed to provide power to appliances that keep running at all times, and challenges each setting to reduce its baseload per pupil by way of a competitive Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬 schools' league!

Our eight Sustainability Superheroes, with their individual pledges for action, are embedded into everyday Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬 school life. They are based on the .
